Troubleshooting Guide

  • Clean the connector - is the connector clean? Does it have build up or dirt.
  • Inspect cable strain relief for twists, cuts, and damage.
  • Confirm a firm connection between beltpack and mic plug.
  • Replace/fully charge batteries.
  • Inspect cable strain relief for twists/damage.
  • Re-pair transmitter and receiver on a clear channel if interference persists.
  • Allow microphone to fully dry between classes - always start class with a dry windscreen.
  • Check capsule/windscreen for sweat, tape, debris.
  • Lower input gain on transmitter/mixer.
  • Verify limiter/compressor settings aren't clipping.
  • Check batteries - always test with a fresh battery in the transmitter.
  • Ensure both devices share the same group/channel.
  • Move within 20 ft of receiver during pairing.
  • Factory reset receiver before re-linking if needed.
  • Check mic cable.
  • Make sure battery contacts are clean.
  • Make sure headset connection is solid, and not falling out.
  • Use fresh alkaline or known-good rechargeables.
  • Ensure receiver antenna isn't blocked by metal/obstructions.
