Aeromic
The Gold Standard for Fitness Professionals.
The Aeromic AM11LS is the legendary headset microphone that redefined fitness audio. Engineered specifically for high-intensity, high-sweat environments, it remains the only fitness headset backed by a conditional 2-Year “No Sweat” Warranty — even at 7 classes a day, 7 days a week.
Handmade in Australia and trusted worldwide since 1999, the Aeromic has become the industry benchmark for durability and vocal clarity. The LS Series introduces a low-sensitivity capsule protected by double mesh and an acoustically transparent Carbon Collar, designed to prevent moisture clogging while delivering greater loudness before feedback.
The capsule is fully potted and sealed to protect against sweat intrusion. A reinforced one-piece Phat Frame, all-steel cable, and four layers of sweat defense at the connector make the AM11LS one of the most durable fitness headsets ever built.
When your reputation depends on clear, consistent instruction, the Aeromic delivers.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions by current and future customers
Why does a fitness instructor need a specialty headset mic instead of a regular one?
Standard headset mics are designed for theatre and corporate use — they fail within months in a fitness environment because sweat corrodes the cable, swells the capsule foam, and rusts exposed metal. The Aeromic was engineered from the ground up for fitness: all-steel cable instead of copper, one-piece polymeric frame with no exposed metal, Carbon Collar around the capsule, and four layers of sweat defense at the connector. It's the difference between a tool built for the job and a tool adapted to it.
What is the 2-Year Sweat Warranty and what does it cover?
The Aeromic carries a conditional 2-year warranty against sweat damage — the strongest in the headset mic industry. It covers use of up to 7 classes per day, 7 days a week. Most headset mic manufacturers explicitly exclude sweat from their warranty; the Aeromic is one of the only mics in the world actually warrantied against the thing most likely to kill it. Keep your purchase receipt as proof of date.
Will the Aeromic work with my existing wireless system?
Almost certainly yes. The Aeromic uses our MultiMic connector system that fits every major wireless brand: Fitness Audio, Shure, Sennheiser, Audio-Technica, AKG, Samson, MiPro, Telex, Sony, Nady, JTS, Chiayo, TOA, and others. Tell us your bodypack make and model when you order and we'll confirm the right connector — most commonly T4 (4-pin mini-XLR) for Shure/Fitness Audio/MiPro or T3 (3-pin mini-XLR) for AKG/Samson.
Can I use one Aeromic across multiple gyms with different wireless brands?
Yes — that's exactly what MultiMic was designed for. If you teach at Gym A on Shure and Gym B on Fitness Audio, a single Aeromic plugs into both. This is especially valuable for traveling presenters, master trainers, and freelance instructors working across multiple facilities.
What is the Low Sensitivity (LS) capsule and why does it matter?
Counter-intuitively, lower sensitivity gives you more usable volume in a room. The LS capsule delivers more gain before feedback starts, behaves better with digital signal processors, and is more compatible with bodypacks from other brands. In practice: you can push the mic louder over the music without that piercing feedback squeal.
Will the Aeromic stay on during high-impact choreography?
Yes. Instructors teach BodyPump, plyometrics, kickboxing, dance, and high-impact aerobics in Aeromics without issue. Once you bend the one-piece PhatFrame to fit your head, the behind-the-head design locks in place through jumping, burpees, and head movement. No bouncing, no shifting, no readjusting mid-class.
Do I need a foam ball windscreen?
No. Because the capsule sits beside the mouth instead of in front of it, breath blasts and plosives are physically avoided rather than masked. A small windsock is included for added vocal warmth and an extra sweat barrier, but you'll notice professional Aeromic users don't have the giant foam ball that's common on other brands.
How do I clean and care for it?
Wipe the boom and headband with a dry or barely-damp cloth after each class. Don't submerge it, don't spray cleaner on the capsule, and never store it wet inside a bag. Let it air-dry in a ventilated space between sessions. The windsock can be rinsed gently and air-dried separately. Proper care is what gets you 3–5+ years of life from a single mic.
What's the difference between the Aeromic and the Cyclemic?
Same internal capsule, same PhatFrame, same all-steel cable, same Carbon Collar, same 2-year warranty. The Aeromic comes in black-and-yellow with a straight boom for general group fitness — instructors who move around the room and aerate the mic naturally. The Cyclemic comes in black-and-orange with a J-curve boom specifically to drain sweat for forward-leaning cycle and hot yoga instructors. Cycle or hot yoga = Cyclemic. Everything else = Aeromic.
Can I use the Aeromic for hot yoga if I rotate two of them?
It will work, but the Cyclemic is the better choice for any heated environment. The J-curve boom specifically addresses the sweat-drainage problem of fixed-position, high-heat teaching. If you teach a mix of heated and non-heated classes, many instructors own one of each.
Can multiple instructors share one Aeromic?
We strongly recommend each instructor have their own headset — the windsock and earpieces sit against the face and absorb sweat. The wireless bodypack can be shared between instructors, but the headset itself should be personal, like a toothbrush. For the same reason, headset mics cannot be returned once worn.
Does the Aeromic include a wireless transmitter?
The Aeromic on its own is the headset only — you plug it into your existing wireless bodypack. If you don't have a wireless system yet, we offer Aeromic bundled with the Fitness Audio U-Series UHF system, the DX6 Digital Wireless system, the Mini-TX armband (no separate bodypack), and major third-party brands. Contact us and we'll spec a complete package for your facility.
Will the Aeromic sound exceptional through any sound system?
It sounds great through almost any system, but it sounds exceptional through a Fitness Audio Aeromix mixer (1+1 SR, 2+2 SR, or 3+5 LS). The Aeromix mixers are tuned by the same engineering team that builds the Aeromic — clean highs, punchy bass, no low-volume hiss, and the smoothest gain-before-feedback behavior. The two products are designed to work together.
How do I order the right Aeromic for my situation?
Get in touch and tell us: (1) your wireless bodypack brand and model, (2) whether you teach heated or non-heated classes, and (3) your weekly class load. We'll confirm the connector, recommend one mic or two for rotation, and quote a complete system if you need one.
