FAQ
Use this text to share information about your product or shipping policies.
What's included?
U-Series SDR-5616 receiver, MTU8 micro transmitter with mounting bracket, EMic headset with MTU8 connector, DC power supply, and audio cable. Everything you need except batteries and a mixer.
Do I need a mixer?
If you want music and voice with independent volume and auto-ducking, yes. The receiver output goes into your mixer's mic input. If you just need voice through a powered speaker, plug the receiver directly into the speaker's mic/line input.
Is this good for cycling?
It's one of the best options for the bike. No cable running from your head to your waist - nothing to catch on handlebars, saddle, or water bottle.
What about hot yoga?
Add a Yoga Wrap. The MTU8 sits on your head — the heaviest sweat zone. The Yoga Wrap puts a neoprene barrier between your skin and the transmitter. For non-heated classes, it's optional.
Can I add a second headset later for rotation?
Yes. Order the MTU8 + EMic Headset Kit (no receiver) — it pairs with the same receiver included in this system.
How is this different from the U-Series beltpack system?
Same receiver, different transmitter. The U-Series system uses a beltpack transmitter on your waist with a cable running up to the headset. This system puts the transmitter on the headset frame — no belt, no cable. Everything else is identical.
Can I switch between the MTU8 and a beltpack on the same receiver?
Yes. Set both transmitters to the same channel. You can alternate between them — just can't use both simultaneously on one receiver channel.
