The Fitness Audio Limited Warranty
Our gear is built for the one thing that kills ordinary audio equipment: sweat. Our warranty is built the same way — it covers the failure that actually happens in fitness studios, and it tells you plainly what it doesn't. Every term below runs from your purchase date and requires proof of purchase.
Note: Sweat warranties do not include misuse or abuse- general physical damage, old or broken antennas, cut or broken wires, or broken connectors from misuse.

Fitness Audio USA Coverage Terms
Aeromic & Cyclemic: The 2-Year Sweat Death Warranty For two years from purchase, your Aeromic or Cyclemic is guaranteed against sweat damage to the capsule, frame, and cable at up to 7 non-consecutive classes. This is not a standard electronics warranty that excludes moisture; it covers moisture specifically. Coverage relies on two honest conditions:
- No physical damage: Covers sweat—not drops, bends, crush damage, or chewed cables.
- Dry-out intervals: Teach in blocks of two hours or less, giving the mic 60 minutes to dry before the next class. Sweat damage happens in your bag, not in the room. Rotating two mics for back-to-back classes is the difference between two years and six.
Wireless Transmitters: 1-Year Sweat Warranty Every Fitness Audio transmitter ships with eGloop anti-corrosion grease on the contacts - we . For one year from purchase, sweat-related electronic faults will be replaced. This is not a wear-and-tear program; physical damage to plugs, broken battery tags, cracked cases, and worn switches from daily handling are not covered.
EMic, EMic XL & FM-41 These are honest workhorses priced for their workload. Use beyond these ratings is not covered:
- EMic & EMic XL: 1 year warranty at up to 3 non-consecutive classes a day - 20 classes per week.
- FM-41: 1 year warranty at one class per day up to 7 classes per week.
Receivers, Mixers & Power Supplies U-Series and DX6 receivers, Aeromix mixers, the AeroLink Bluetooth receiver, Gov'nor, SALT, and Trigger and all power supplies carry a standard 1 year warranty against manufacturing defects.
What Is Not Covered
We don't void warranties—if one part gets damaged in a way we don't cover, it simply means that specific failure isn't ours to replace. We do not cover:
- Physical & Accidental Damage: Stepped on, dropped, crushed; bent or reshaped frames; snapped boom arms; damaged connectors from forcing or twisting; pulled, stretched, or cut cables; pet damage or transit damage.
- Overuse & Misuse: Teaching past the stated class rating, continuous use without dry-out intervals, submersion or aqua use, cleaning the capsule with solvents/sprays, or using incorrect transmitter voltages.
- Outside Work: Damage caused by third-party disassembly, splicing, or repairs, as well as failures caused by non-Fitness Audio replacement parts.
- Ownership Issues: Second-hand transfers, unauthorized resellers, removed/altered serial numbers, or claims without proof of purchase.
- Wear & Consumables: Cosmetic scuffs, stretched sweat rings, windscreens, pouchbelts, batteries, loss/theft, or lost income/rental costs.

Troubleshooting?
Try these first
Mic is crackling or cutting in and out
Clean the connector pins with contact cleaner (DeOxit or similar) then re-apply eGloop after cleaning them. Make sure the connector is fully seated in the transmitter — push it in and give it a slight twist. Check the transmitter battery. If the problem happens only in certain spots in the room, it's likely wireless interference, not a mic fault.
No sound at all
Confirm the transmitter is powered on and the battery isn't dead. Check that the receiver is on and the correct channel is selected. Check the mixer input — is the mic channel turned up? Try a known-good cable or mic to isolate whether the issue is the headset, the transmitter, or the mixer.
Audio drops out when I move
This is usually a loose connector or a wireless signal issue. Reseat the connector firmly. Make sure nothing is blocking line-of-sight between the transmitter and receiver. If you're in a multi-room facility, check that adjacent rooms aren't on the same frequency.
Transmitter gets warm during class
Normal under heavy use, especially in hot studios. The neoprene Pouchbelt acts as a barrier between the warm transmitter and your skin. If the transmitter is shutting off, the battery may be failing — try a fresh one.
My windscreen is discolored or smells
Replace it. Windscreens are consumable. Under heavy use, swap them every few weeks. Saturated windscreens hold moisture against the capsule and can cause audio issues. Spares are in the accessories section.
Feedback / squealing
Move away from the speakers. Check that the mic EQ isn't boosting high frequencies too much. If using an Aeromix, reduce the treble on the voice channel. Make sure you're using the correct capsule sensitivity for your room — LS capsules handle more gain before feedback than standard capsules.
