How to read your group

Every Fitness Audio receiver and transmitter is built for one frequency group. Look for the silver sticker on the bottom of the receiver, or next to the battery inside the transmitter. It reads SU520, SU536, SU540, SU560 or SU580. Each group has 16 channels, coded 0 to 9 and A to F. On a UTX16 the screen also shows the frequency. Transmitters and receivers only talk to each other inside the same group.

About these results

Station data comes from the FCC's TV Query and TV Service Contour files (licensed and temporary-authority stations on RF channels 14 to 36). Channel frequencies come from the Fitness Audio UHF Frequency Chart. A TV channel counts as taken when your location falls inside a station's predicted coverage area. These are predictions, not measurements. Buildings, terrain and other wireless gear in the room change what you'll actually hear, so always finish with the receiver's RF Test button.

Results apply to Fitness Audio U-Series, MTU8 and UTX16 gear in a single group. If you're mixing in another brand's wireless, ask your installer or email us before you order.

Since July 13, 2020, wireless mics may not operate in 617–652 MHz or 663–698 MHz in the US. Channel assignments can change, so we refresh this data from the FCC.
