EMic
Quality. Comfort. Reliability.
The EMic is built for instructors who want professional-grade clarity and durability without a premium price tag. Designed for light-to-medium use (up to 20 classes a week), it delivers clean, noise-reducing vocal performance in a lightweight, all-day wearable frame.
Rated for up to 20 classes a week, with rotation: alternate two EMics every other class, or take the windscreen off and give a mic about an hour to dry between classes. A single EMic used back-to-back will not reach this rating.
That works out to up to 3 non-consecutive classes a day. Hot classes (hot yoga, hot Pilates): 1 hot class a day. Teaching more hot classes than that? The Aeromic and Cyclemic are rated for up to 3 a day.
Engineered specifically for fitness environments, the EMic features a sweat-resistant connector, reinforced flexible boom arm, steel cable wire, epoxy-sealed joints, and a durable steel frame — making it significantly more robust than generic headset mics bundled with wireless systems.
Comfortable enough for back-to-back classes and clear enough for acoustically challenging rooms, the EMic is ideal for yoga, pilates, cycling, HIIT, and general group fitness.
Available in six colors to match studio branding or track system usage by room.
Weight: 1.8 oz. Cable length: 51 in.
Already have a wireless system?
The EMic plugs into the transmitter you already own, including Shure, Samson, Sennheiser, AKG and Fitness Audio. Pick your connector above. Not sure which one? Use the Connector Finder.
Trusted by 50,000+ fitness instructors since 1994. Compare all four headsets or take the Mic Finder.

EMic · The everyday studio mic
The mic most studios start with.
A noise-cancelling headset built for sweat, at a price that lets you kit out the whole team. Six boom colors, and a connector for the wireless you already own.

How it lasts
Two mics. Twenty classes a week.
The EMic is rated for up to 20 classes a week when you run two and alternate them. Teach on one while the other dries.
Between classes, pull the windscreen off and give the mic about an hour to air out. That's how the capsule stays dry, and it's what the 1-year sweat warranty assumes.
Example day
One instructor, two EMics
- 6:00 AMCycleMic A
- 9:30 AMHIITMic B
- 5:30 PMBootcampMic A
The mic you're not wearing dries with its windscreen off.
For the instructor
52 g on a self-adjusting steel band. The boom sits on your left and the cable runs back to your pouchbelt.
The foam windscreen pulls off for drying and swaps out in seconds. Replace it every few weeks to keep the sound clean.
One connector fits any transmitter of that type, whatever the brand, so the same mic works at every gym you teach in.
For the gym
At $249 it's the mic you can buy in pairs for every instructor on the schedule. Color-code by room so the right mic goes back to the right rack.
1-year sweat warranty, repairs done in California, and support by email at info@fitaud.com.
Heavier schedule? The Aeromic is rated for up to 7 classes a day with two in rotation, and carries a 2-year sweat warranty.

How to use the EMic
FAQ
Frequently asked questions by current and future customers
How many classes per week can the EMic handle?
Up to 20 classes a week with two mics in rotation: teach on one while the other dries. Between classes, take the windscreen off and give the mic about an hour to air out, and clean the connector regularly.
Can the EMic handle cycling classes?
For moderate cycling schedules, yes. If cycling is your primary format at high volume, the Cyclemic is purpose-built for the forward-leaning position and that level of sweat.
What colors are available?
Six solid colors: black, yellow, red, blue, green and purple. Two XL options with a longer boom: red/black and blue/black. Studios use the colors to track mics per room or system.
What transmitters does it work with?
The EMic uses our MultiMic connector system. Choose TA4F for Fitness Audio, Shure, Mipro, JTS, Chiayo, TOA and Trantec packs; TA3F for AKG and Samson; 3.5mm TRS Locking for Sennheiser. If your transmitter isn't on that list, email us the model before you order and we'll confirm the fit.
Is the capsule noise-cancelling?
Yes. It rejects room noise, music bleed, and fan noise — isolating your voice even in loud, acoustically challenging rooms. Also makes it ideal for quieter formats like yoga and Pilates where a calm, close voice is preferred.
Can I replace the windscreen?
Yes. Windscreens are consumable — replace them every few weeks under heavy use. Factory replacements are available in the accessories section.
When should I upgrade to the Aeromic?
If you're teaching more than 20 classes a week, sweating heavily, or going through mics faster than you'd like. The Aeromic adds a Carbon Collar, all-steel cable, PhatFrame, and a 2-year sweat warranty for up to 49 classes a week with two mics in rotation.
Does the EMic come with a warranty?
Yes. The EMic carries a 1-year sweat warranty. The Aeromic and Cyclemic carry 2 years.
What's included in the box?
EMic headset with your selected connector cable, installed foam windscreen, and documentation.
