Drop In. Charge Up. Teach.
The UTX16 pairs with the HC24 charging dock for true grab-and-go operation. Finish class, drop the beltpack in the dock, and it's charging - no opening battery doors, no swapping cells, no ongoing battery costs. The LCD shows you exactly how much charge is left, so you're never surprised mid-class. Prefer disposables? The UTX16 runs on standard AA alkalines too, so you're covered even if the dock isn't handy.
FAQ
Will this work with my existing receiver?
Yes. Set the UTX16 to the same channel and frequency as your SDR-5616 receiver and it pairs immediately.
Do I need to buy a headset too?
Only if you need a new one. Any Fitness Audio headset with a T4 MultiMic connector works - EMic, Aeromic, Cyclemic, or FM-41. If your current headset has a T4 plug, it connects to the UTX16 the same way it connected to the SM716.
What's the main reason to upgrade from the SM716?
Rechargeable batteries and the LCD display. No more 9-volts. No more guessing battery life. Drop it in the HC24 dock between classes and it charges. The button lock and dual gain controls are bonuses.
Does the headset plug in the same way?
Yes. Same T4 MultiMic connector. Plug in and go.
