Aeromix 1+1SR
Professional Sound. Compact Design.
The Aeromix 1+1 Mini Mixer delivers the same pristine audio performance and intuitive control as its larger siblings — in a streamlined, compact format ideal for smaller studios and simplified setups.
Designed for single-instructor environments, the 1+1 provides one professional microphone input and two music inputs, along with dedicated tone controls for both mic and music channels. The front-panel music jack automatically detects when a device is connected using the included iJax cable, making setup fast and frustration-free.
Like the flagship models, it includes an independent streaming output with its own volume control — allowing you to send your complete mix directly to a computer or phone for virtual classes and live streaming.
Built with balanced Combi XLR input, ultra-quiet 24V power supply, and integrated safety features, the Aeromix 1+1 delivers professional-grade sound in a footprint perfect for boutique studios or compact installations.

FAQ

What is the Aeromix 1+1 SR and who is it designed for?
The Aeromix 1+1 SR is a compact "voice over music" mini mixer purpose-built for fitness studios, group exercise rooms, cycle studios, yoga rooms, dance studios, and small training spaces. It's the smaller sibling of the industry-standard Aeromix 2+2 and is designed so instructors can easily run one wireless microphone over their music with crystal-clear sound and minimal knob-twiddling.
How many microphones and music sources can I plug into it?
The Aeromix 1+1 SR accepts 1 microphone input (a Combi socket that takes either a 6.35mm/¼" TRS jack or a balanced XLR cable from your wireless receiver) and 2 stereo music sources — one pair of RCA inputs on the rear and a ¼" TRS input on the front panel for quick smartphone or MP3 player hookup.
Can I connect my phone or laptop for music?
Yes. The front-panel ¼" jack uses an auto-sensing circuit, so the moment you plug your phone or laptop into the front input, the mixer automatically switches Music 1 to that source. No reaching behind the rack, no fumbling with cables mid-class. We include our exclusive iJax smartphone cable with every mixer, and replacement cables are available to order.
Is it streaming-ready for virtual classes or recording?
Yes. The latest version includes an independent volume-controlled 3.5mm mini-jack output socket. You can send your full voice-over-music mix into an external USB soundcard, straight into a computer, or into a phone or tablet (with the correct adaptor) for live streaming, Zoom classes, or recording on-demand content.
Will it work with my existing wireless microphone system?
The Aeromix 1+1 SR is tuned to sound exceptional with Fitness Audio's Aeromic, Cyclemic, and EMic headset systems — you'll hear clean highs, punchy bass, and no low-volume hiss. The Combi mic input also accepts the balanced XLR mic output from virtually any quality wireless receiver (Shure, Sennheiser, Audio-Technica, etc.), so it integrates easily into existing setups.
What's a "Combi mic input" and why does it matter?
A Combi socket accepts both a 6.35mm jack plug in the centre and a balanced XLR connection from the outer pins. Balanced XLR connections reveal more "body" in the voice and are far less susceptible to noise and interference, which is critical in a studio environment with a lot of electronics around. You get a richer, cleaner voice no matter which connector your wireless receiver uses.
How do I stop instructors from cranking the volume too loud?
The Aeromix 1+1 SR has a recessed Master Volume control on the rear panel. Your installer sets the maximum loudness at setup, and from that point on the system will never exceed that ceiling — no matter how hard an instructor pushes the front-panel knobs. This is one of the most-requested "set and forget" features for multi-instructor facilities.
Can I link it to The Trigger to manage studio loudness?
Yes. The Aeromix 1+1 SR has a dedicated link for The Trigger by Fitness Audio. When sound levels exceed your set threshold, our Audio Slap Circuit delivers a noticeable −15 dB cut to the music until levels come back down — protecting members' hearing, keeping you compliant with workplace noise regulations, and reducing complaints from neighbouring rooms.
Does it have an evacuation safety feature?
Yes. There's an EVAC link (Music Mute Relay) for evacuation control, which is often required by code in public institutions, councils, and university recreation centres. If the fire alarm triggers, music is automatically muted to the sound system while the instructor's microphone stays at full volume — so they can calmly direct an orderly evacuation.
Can I adjust the mic tone separately from the music?
Yes — that's one of the key advantages of the Aeromix. You can shape the bass and treble of the microphone independently from the music. If you're getting feedback on the mic, you can EQ it out without making the music sound thin or dull.
Can I rack-mount the Aeromix 1+1 SR?
Yes. An optional 1RU rack mount kit is available. You can rack-mount it on its own or side by side with a Fitness Audio Wireless Mic Receiver or an AeroLink Bluetooth Music Receiver to keep the whole signal chain tidy in one rack slot.
Does it have Bluetooth?
The Aeromix 1+1 SR itself doesn't have built-in Bluetooth, but it pairs perfectly with our AeroLink Bluetooth Music Receiver, which feeds straight into the RCA music inputs. This way you get rock-solid wired audio quality from the mixer while still streaming wirelessly from a phone or tablet.
Will it sound clean at low volumes during warm-up and cool-down?
Yes. The Aeromix 1+1 SR uses a 24V power supply — the quietest in any fitness mixer on the market. There's no annoying low-volume hiss during quiet stretching, breathwork, or cool-down segments where every little buzz becomes noticeable.
Is it built to handle a sweaty fitness environment?
Heavy-duty raised knobs and pots are used throughout to resist rust and corrosion from humidity and sweat. It's been road-tested and QC'd by the Aeromic Lab Team specifically for the demands of fitness studios — not adapted from a generic studio mixer.
Do I need to be an audio engineer to set this up?
Not at all. The Aeromix 1+1 SR was designed so instructors can walk up, plug in, and teach. The limited number of knobs is intentional — once your installer sets the master volume, EQ, and trim, all instructors need to do is adjust mic and music levels during class. It's also easy to reset on the fly, which saves expensive service calls.
What's included in the box?
The Aeromix 1+1 SR mixer, a 24V power supply, and our exclusive iJax smartphone connection cable. A downloadable data sheet and full user manual are available on the product page. Rack mount kits are sold separately.
What's the difference between the Aeromix 1+1 and the Aeromix 2+2?
The 1+1 supports 1 microphone and 2 music sources — ideal for solo-instructor studios, smaller rooms, boutique fitness, yoga, Pilates, and home studios. The 2+2 supports 2 microphones and 2 music sources, which is better for team-teaching, larger group-ex rooms, and venues running co-led classes. If you only ever have one instructor on the mic at a time, the 1+1 SR is the more cost-effective choice.
Can I use two wireless headset mics with the 1+1?
The 1+1 SR is built around a single mic channel. If you regularly team-teach with two instructors on mics simultaneously, the Aeromix 2+2 SR is the right model. If you have a second instructor only occasionally, some studios swap headsets between classes — but for true dual-mic teaching, choose the 2+2.
How do I get help choosing the right mixer or sound system for my studio?
Get in touch through our contact page and we'll connect you with your local Fitness Audio distribution partner. We can recommend the right combination of mixer, wireless mic system, and speakers based on your room size, class type, and budget.
